Overview

Kingdom of Amalur is an open world Role Playing Game Developed by Big huge games and 38 studios and published by Electronic arts. In this game we take on the role of a character who has been revived back from death. Having cheated death he then gains the power to change fate as well as the future. As the story progresses he comes to know that a new race has emerged calling themselves the tuatha Deohn and have infiltrated alamur and it is up to him to stop them as well as birth of a new god named Tirnoch.


Plot

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning follows the story of a man known as the "Fateless One", who had in the game's outset and is revived in the experimental Well of Souls by the scientist named Fomorous Hugues.He was the first and only success of the experiment as soon after the facility had came under attack by the Tuatha Deohn, who are currently waging a "Crystal War" against all the mortal races in the name of their new god "Tirnoch". Having escaped the facility, the Fateless One who has no memory of their life before his death  is briefed on the ongoing war by Agarth who was a Fateweaver. Agarth is astounded when he realize that he cannot read The Fateless One's future having already died, the Fateless One's return from the dead has taken him out of "Fate's weave"; His is the only life in the world without a predetermined end. This power also allows the Fateless One to alter the fates of others, as Agarth discovers when the Fateless One saves him from his fated, "lonely" death at the hands of a native creature.Since the Fateless One can change the fates it gives him the power which rivals that of Tirnoch - a God. 


Gameplay

Kingdoms of Amalur features five regions and four playable races and three class containing 22 abilities per class.The four playable races are the Almain (Civilized Humans), the Dokkalfar (Dark Elves), the Ljosalfar (Light Elves), and the Varani (Nomadic Humans). The player starts off as a "Fateless", but can afterwards choose a class among the three classes available in the game which are called Sorcery, Finesse, and Might, these correspond to the Fighter, Rogue, and Mage classes respectively. As the player fights and gains experience, Advance levels gets unlocked. With gain of a level ,the player gains three ability points which can be invested in order to gain new abilities or improve the existing ones, or put points into one of the other trees. By completing Faction quests and investing . The player can also unlock various "destinies", which add positive buffs to the players stats permanently. Combat is based on the timing of button presses, similar to an action role-playing game, with occasional quick time event and cut scenes. The combat includes a 'fate' system which allows players to gather 'fate points' and ultimately enter 'Reckoning Mode', a slow motion mode that allows the player to quickly dispatch enemies with ease. The Reckoning Mode may end on player's command or with the depletion of the fate bar or by the act of 'Fate-shifting' an enemy. Fate-shifting involves performing a brutal finishing move on a single enemy. During the cosmetic Fate-shifting phase, the player may rapidly tap a random button to increase the experience yield up to 100%. After the Fate shifting, all weakened enemies also die.It has five regions and unique monsters with different weaknesses.

  2. The above torrent includes 2 DLC's - The teeth of naros and The Legend Of Dead Kel as well as all the patches released till date.
