Overview
Grand Theft Auto III also commonly Known as GTA Liberty City is an action-adventure game developed by DMA Design and published by Rockstar Games. It is the fifth games released by Rockstar Games Of The Grand Theft Auto Series. The Fictional World consist of four continents which are unlocked by completing main game missions. It is set within the fictional Liberty City, based on New York City, the game follows Claude after he is left for dead during an attempted robbery and caught by the police. After escaping the police van he rises ones again and quickly becomes entangled in a world of gangs, crime and corruption while keeping his vengeance in his conscience.
Plot
During a robbing in a bank in Liberty City the criminal Claude is shot and betrayed by his girlfriend who was very ambitious by nature. He survives being shot but is arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison. While being transported to the new prison in a prison van, Claude and fellow prisoner are inadvertently freed after an attack on the police convoy by Colombian men in order to retrieve the elderly third prisoner. 8-Ball later introduces Claude to the Leone Mafia crime family; Sex Club 7 owner Luigi Goterelli, Don Salvatore Leone , his Capo Toni Cipriani and the Don's son Joey Leone. During work for the family, Claude finds himself fighting the Colombians, who were led by Catalina and the Colombian man, in proliferating a new drug, SPANK After destroying the Colombians' ship, Salvatore sends Claude to get rid of a car, but Salvatore's trophy wife Maria, who Claude was instructed to drive around for one mission and who has taken a liking to him, saves him just in time. She admits that, during a fight with Salvatore she told him about having an affair with Claude which was not true at the current time. Along with her friend Asuka Kasen they flee Portland for Staunton Island in order to their lose their pursuers.
Gameplay
Grand Theft Auto III is an action-adventure role playing game in which we control the player with third-person view.The players can either complete main storyline missions or simply roam the city while doing Side Missions and exploring. In order to progress through the story. It is possible to have several active missions running at one time but still there are some missions require players to wait for further instructions or events or missions to be completed. Outside of missions the players can freely roam the game's world, the player can also complete optional side missions. The Fictional world of Liberty City is composed of three boroughs, Portland, Staunton Island, and Shoreside Vale. These islands are initially locked to players but as the story progresses the island are opened. Players may Perform various actions like run, jump or use vehicles to navigate the game's world. In combat, auto-aim can be used as assistance against enemies which makes the gameplay more easier and simple for even beginners to play. Should players take damage in some clash between people then his health meter can be fully regenerated through the use of health pick-ups. In order to increase the durability the player can use Body armour can be used to absorb gunshots and explosive damage, but is used up in the process.When the full health bar is entirely depleted, gameplay stops and players respawn at the nearest hospital, at the expense of losing armor, weapons and a small amount of money which is deducted from our player.
