Overview
The Elder Scrolls V also popularly known as Skyrim is an action role-playing game which was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Skyrim is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series.Its dated in decades before as it has weapons and buildings architecture which existed millenniums ago.It is a mixture of fantasy and hack and slash genre as it has various mythical animals such as the dragons,vampires,werewolves and ,many more which are waiting to be discovered by you.
Plot
Our character at the prologue of the game is a prisoner who was captured by imperial soilders and was being led to an Imperial execution in Helgen which was overseen by General Tullius,Ulfric Stormcloak who can be considered as a important NPC was among the prisoners to be executed there. "Alduin" a dragon aunexpectedly interrupts the procession, destroying the town before the player can be executed.The player escapes amidst the chaos and journeys to the city of Whiterun in order to request aid against the dragon threat.Soon after the a dragon was sighted Near a outpost of whiterun.Our character aids the Soldiers and slays the dragon but after slaying the dragon the player absorbs its soul, which grants them the ability to perform a shout. The city's guards inform the player that he must be a Dragonborn. Dragonborn signifies a person who has the soul of a dragon but body of a mortal which enables him to absorb the souls. Soon after that our character is summoned to meet with the Greybeards, an order of monks who live in seclusion on Skyrim's tallest mountain also known as the Throat of the World. The Greybeards train the player in using shouts and inform the player of their role in stopping Alduin. As it is proposized that he will eventually destroy the world. The player learns that Skyrim's civil war is the last in a sequence of prophetic events foretold by the Elder Scrolls, which also predicted the return of Alduin.
Gameplay
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action role-playing game which is playable from both a first or third-person perspective.It is a open world game so the player may freely roam over the land of Skyrim which is an Huge area covering plains,mountains,rivers and glaciers as well as geysers. The map consist of vegetations of wilderness expanses, dungeons, cities, towns, fortresses, and villages. Players may travel the game world more quickly by riding horses or by utilizing a fast-travel system which enables them to warp to previously discovered locations directly.The game's main quest can be completed or ignored or completed, it fully depend on the player after the completion of the first quest. However, some quests rely on the main storyline being at least partially completed. Non-player characters are found all world and can be interacted with in a number of ways. The player may engage them in conversation, Marry an eligible NPC or even kill them. Some NPCs cannot be killed due to their important role in storylines. If witnessed, crimes like murder and theft accrue the player a bounty which is tracked independently in each of Skyrim's nine holds. Should the player be stopped by a guard, they may wipe their bounty with gold or jail time or may resist arrest which will trigger an aggressive pursuit. NPCs can provide the player with additional side-quests.Some NPCs who are befriended or are hired by the player may act as companions who will accompany the player and aid them in combat.their are many factions from which the player may choose to join factions which he desires.Each faction then offers to the player all the additional job quests.The character can engages in combat with monsters while exploring a dungeon or abandoned fortress. The player may dual wield weapons and magic at once in order to be more effective against enemies. Skyrim also provides the Players the option to develop their character up to the most minute details. At the beginning of the game, players create their character by selecting their sex and choosing between one of several races including humans, orcs, elves or lizard-like creatures,etc.Over the course of the game, players can increase his capabilities and skills through his actions.There are eighteen skills divided evenly among the three schools of combat, magic, and stealth. When players have trained skills enough to meet the required experience, their character levels up. Each time their character levels, the players may choose to select a skill-specific ability called a perk or store perk points for unlocking powerful skills later.The character class system to determine which skills would contribute to the character's leveling but Skyrim allows players to choose the ones we prefer. In the end it is an Open World game which emphasizes on a combat involving the environment and its productive use as well as legendary weapons which can be obtained through doing Additional quests.
